Clare Senior Hurling manager, Davy Fitzgerald has been admitted to hospital in Dublin this morning.

A spokesperson for the Clare team said they are hopeful the All-Ireland winning manager will be able to take his place on the sideline for their crunch clash with Galway in Semple Stadium this Sunday.

He attended a check-up Galway Clinic on Tuesday evening but was referred to the capital this morning for additional tests.
