As Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann begins to reach its climax a shuttle bus system will commence on Friday.

From 8am tomorrow morning, buses will operate from the four Park & Ride locations to the “Inner Ring Road”. These buses will run at intervals of approximately thirty minutes on the Orange, Gold, Blue and Green routes as marked on the Fleadh map. The map is pictured above.

When the Park & Ride buses reach the “Inner Ring Road”, passengers may change to smaller shuttle buses which will service the town centre. The last shuttle bus leaves the centre of Ennis at about 1am. All buses are suitable for Universal Access.

Visitors are advised to use the specially designated car parks which cost €5 each day. The buses are free. Drop off/collection points are located close to the town centre. The services are designed to facilitate event and competition venues as well as camp sites.

Ennis is open for business over the weekend but traffic restrictions are in place to accommodate the Fleadh. Only official car parks and camp sites should be used.

Motorists are reminded to switch off satellite navigation systems as they approach Ennis and follow the Fleadh signage. Visitors are requested to cooperate with stewards and security personnel.
