The Burren National Park Information Point, located in Corofin Co Clare, has reopened for the 2019 season.
The team there will be providing free guided walks and events throughout the coming months.
The next Guided Walk will take place in Slieve Carran Nature Reserve on Sunday 28th April at 2.00pm.
You can join the free guided walk along the Brown Trail in Slieve Carran Nature Reserve where you can explore the fascinating history of the site which includes St. Colmán’s 7th century Hermitage along with a variety of habitats such as hazel woodland, species rich calcareous grassland and limestone pavement.
This is a 2.5km looped walk starting at the Nature Reserve trailhead at 2.00pm and lasting approximately 2 hours.
You are advised to dress appropriately for the weather and terrain.
