Following on from the success of last year’s Instrument Appeal the event will run again this Christmas.

Students at Ennis secondary schools Coláiste Muire and Rice College will host the event this Wednesday and Thursday.

Anyone with pre-loved instruments they would like to donate, they are welcome to bring them along.

All instrument donations will go to a local primary school with a passion for music but can’t unfortunately afford to meet the demand for learning a musical instrument.

Whether it’s an old fiddle, banjo or tin whistle, your pre-loved instrument would be cherished and could possibly be the beginning of a music career and love of music for one child.  All instruments are generously accepted.

Collections are taking place on our Facebook page: Instrument Appeal as well as at Rice College on Wednesday December 14th from 1.10pm – 2pm and at Coláiste Muire on Thursday December 15th at lunchtime from 12.30 till 1.30pm.
