Smoking ban all over St Joseph’s campus

Smoking is no longer permitted on the entire campus of St Joseph’s Hospital in Ennis.

On Tuesday of this week it became a smoke free campus in line with National HSE Policy. It aims to create a healthier tobacco free, clean environment for staff, residents, service users and visitors.

It is no longer permitted to smoke on any area of the hospital grounds including buildings, entrances, doorways, walkways, car parks, cars, bicycle shelters and internal roads.

St. Josephs Hospital Ennis provides care and has a Day Hospital service to the Ennis area and outer environs. The hospital is all on ground floor level and is divided into units surrounding a central garden area.

Situated opposite the Fairgreen in Ennis, the hospital is in close proximity to the Mid West Regional Hospital, Ennis, there is a large campus area with other health services located on site.
