Uisce Éireann has confirmed that it is mobilising crews to restore water supply for customers in West Clare after a busrt watermain was reported in the Doonbeg area.
The utility says it’s working with Clare County Council to restore water as quickly as possible to approximately 40 properties. The areas affected are Glascloune, Baltard, Bealaha, Farrihy, Doonmore, Doonbeg, Kilrush and surrounding areas in Co. Clare.
Dedicated water service crews have mobilised and repairs are expected to be completed by Wednesday 5 June. Typically, it takes two to three hours after this to restore normal supply to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
