Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for Ireland for this Thursday.
The weather service is warning of strong and gusty south-westerly winds which could lead to difficult travelling conditions; debris or loose objects being displaced and some fallen branches or trees.
The warning will come into effect at midnight tonight and remain place until 6.00pm on Thursday.

Met Éireann has also issued a Status Yellow Rain Warning for seventeen counties including Clare.
Forecasters say we can expect rain with heavy downpours in places which could result in spot flooding; poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
The warning will come into effect at 06:00am Thursday and remain in place until 3:00pm.
