Clareman to represent Ireland at World Natural Bodybuilding Championships

Clare native Dylan Nolan is set to fly the flag for Ireland at the upcoming World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) World Championships in Los Angeles this November.

Originally from County Clare and now living in Sligo working with Abbvie in quality assurance as well as Rom Sligo as a personal trainer, Dylan earned his place among the world’s best after claiming first place at WNBF Ireland 2025, securing his qualification for the Worlds. The WNBF is a globally respected drug-free bodybuilding federation, dedicated to promoting fairness, integrity, and the true spirit of natural athleticism.

In Ireland, the federation is led by Finbarr and Lill Murphy, who have become synonymous with the growth of natural bodybuilding across the country. Their passion for the sport and commitment to giving athletes a fair and supportive platform have been instrumental in helping competitors like Dylan reach international level.

Dylan’s achievement is the result of seven years of consistent training and dedication, with the goal of one day representing Ireland on the world stage.

Speaking ahead of his trip to Los Angeles, Dylan said: “This is something I’ve been working towards for the past seven years, ever since I first set foot in the gym. To now be representing Ireland at the WNBF Worlds is a dream come true. I’m beyond excited for what’s to come and so grateful for the opportunity to showcase natural bodybuilding on a global stage.”

The WNBF World Championships will bring together elite natural athletes from around the world — all tested to ensure a level playing field — to compete for world titles. For Dylan, it’s both a personal milestone and a chance to highlight the strength of Ireland’s growing natural bodybuilding scene.

He continues to train intensively in the lead-up to the event, proud to represent Clare, Sligo, and Ireland among the best in the world.
