Fixture details released for Clare’s next games

Clare’s last sixteen clash in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship versus Sligo takes place this Saturday.

Fixture details for the clash were confirmed by the C.C.C.C. this afternoon. Colm Collins’ men will face a six day turnaround for the Round 3A qualifier while their Connacht opponents have the luxury of a fourteen day break since their last outing when they overcame Leitrim on July 2nd.

Markievicz Park is the venue for the tie which throws-in at 2pm. Cavan will host Derry at 3:30pm on Saturday in the other Round 3A fixture.

Meanwhile the Clare hurlers’ All-Ireland quarter-final clash with Galway will take place in Semple Stadium at 4pm on July 24th. It is the second game in a double-header with the other quarter-final between Wexford and Waterford commencing at 2pm. The Thurles double-header will be live on RTÉ.
