Canoe facilities and services blocks are being provided at various locations around Lough Derg as part of a new initiative aimed at promoting water-based activities on Ireland’s third largest lake.
With forecasts of continued dry and warm weather over the coming days and the June Bank Holiday Weekend, members of the public are being urged to be extra vigilant when participating in water-based activities.
