Five people were arrested and a quantity of drugs and cash seized during a search operation in counties Clare and Limerick yesterday.

Gardaí attached to the Limerick Divisional Drug Unit, supported by Gardaí from Mayorstone, Regional Dog Unit and members of the Defence Forces, carried out a number of searches in Corbally, Co Limerick and Clonlara, Co Clare as part of Operation Tara, targeting the distribution of controlled drugs in the Limerick area.

Two people have been arrested and €440,000 were seized by Gardaí in the Corbally area of Co Clare last night.

Truagh/Clonlara Camogie under 14 girls will represent Co Clare in this year’s Féile in Cork on the 8th, 9th and 10th of June.
