Scheduled walk-in vaccination clinics for adults, and children aged 12 and over, will be held at all three Mid-West COVID-19 Vaccination Centres including Ennis this weekend, from Friday August 27th to Sunday August 29th.

An Garda Síochána at the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB) are warning the public of a recent text message (smishing) scam where persons are receiving text messages purporting to be from Health Service Executive (HSE) and advising the public to book an appointment for a Covid-19 test through a link on the text.

An Garda Síochána has re-commenced High Profile static checkpoints on selected High Volume Motorway/ Dual Carriageway routes.

The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) has confirmed new Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) COVID-19 Guidance on visitations to Long Term Residential Care Facilities which will be implemented from 22 March.

The Department of Public Health Mid-West is encouraging confirmed cases to speak openly with contact tracers who are investigating complex and serious COVID-19 outbreaks in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary.
