International tourism buyers from across the globe are currently experiencing some of the best Co. Clare has to offer as Fáilte Ireland showcases the unique experiences Ireland has to offer in Ireland, before they take part in ‘Meitheal’, Ireland’s biggest tourism trade show in Killarney, later this week. 

Elected Members, stakeholders, and community representatives from across North Clare and the wider Burren region gathered in The Falls Hotel, Ennistymon, to explore new collaborations aimed at promoting the Burren as a sustainable destination.

Fáilte Ireland has unveiled the first viewing points along the Burren Discovery Trail, a new looped route off the Wild Atlantic Way designed to encourage visitors to explore more and stay longer in the Burren. 

This week more than 1500 one-to-one sales appointments have been scheduled between 155 Irish leisure and UltraLuxe tourism suppliers, including ten businesses from Clare, with Irish-based tour operators and destination management companies (DMCs), to help drive demand for Ireland among international visitors in both the leisure and the UltraLuxe* markets.
