An Garda Síochána, the HSE and the Department of Health are advising members of the public to be aware of potential scams relating to the Covid-19 vaccine.
The University of Limerick will this week facilitate another round of on-campus mass testing, in partnership with Public Health Mid-West, to help manage the current outbreak among the student population and to prevent further transmission of COVID-19.
The Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, has secured Government approval to expand access to medical cards, making them available to all those who are terminally ill and have a prognosis of up to 24 months.
The Department of Public Health Mid-West is expressing concerns over an increase in social gatherings across the region, and is appealing to the public to avoid these behaviours during this critical period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
