Atlantic Aviation Group this week announced the appointment of Caoimhe O’Donnell as Director of HR & Training at its facility at Shannon Airport.

Caoimhe joins the company having previously held the position of Cluster Development Manager at International Aviation Services Centre (IASC) in Shannon, where she assisted companies in the Shannon region to position the area as a globally-recognised Centre of Excellence for Aviation and Aerospace Services. Prior to this, Caoimhe worked as Project and Network Manager for the Irish Centre for Business Excellence (ICBE), where she developed and managed a number of enterprise- led education and training national projects for SME’s and multinationals.

Joining Atlantic Aviation Group, Caoimhe will be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s people strategy and for expanding their Aviation Training School in Shannon.

Announcing the appointment, CEO Connor Flanagan commented “Caoimhe comes with a wealth of expertise in both HR and Training and we are delighted to welcome her to the team. Speaking about the company’s plans to expand its Aviation Training School, she commented “This is something that’s very near to my heart. Shannon has so much to offer from an aviation perspective and I believe that with Atlantic Aviation’s commitment and the collaboration of other key partners, there is a huge opportunity to make Shannon and Ireland the global centre for excellence in Aviation and Aerospace training”.
