Round Three of the Clare SFC will take place in two weeks time and the pairings were announced this evening.

Clareabbey was the venue for the draw which gives teams one final chance to make the quarter-finals in the race for Jack Daly. Doonbeg, Cratloe, Kilmurry Ibrickane and St Josephs Miltown are already through to the last eight having won their two contests to date.

Survival is on the line for four teams as the draw for the relegation semi-finals also took place.

Lissycasey have lodged an appeal following their extra time defeat to Cratloe on Saturday. Cathal Doohan was sent off after receiving two yellow cards from referee Fergal Gray. However the second yellow was awarded in extra time, by the rules of the organisation extra time effectively becomes a new game and the first yellow Doohan had received should not have counted.

Their case will be heard by the Central Hearings Committee in the coming days and if they’re successful a replay will be played between Lissycasey and Cratloe. If not they are entitled to appeal the decision to Munster Council. There is a possibility that this will lead to a backlog in fixtures due to both teams having several representatives involved in the Clare SHC.

Clare SFC Round Three:
Wolfe Tones na Sionna v Cooraclare
St Senans Kilkee v Clondegad
Lissycasey v O’Currys
St Breckans v Ennistymon

Clare SFC Relegation Semi-Final:
Éire Óg v St Josephs Doora/Barefield
Corofin v Kilrush Shamrocks
