It’s down to the last four in the hunt for the Canon Hamilton.

This evening saw the draws take place for the semi-finals of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship. Ballyea, Clonlara, Cratloe and Feakle are the teams left in the competition. Of the quartet Cratloe are the most recent champions having won both the hurling and football championships in 2014.

There will be a repeat of the 2009 County Final as Cratloe and Clonlara do battle while Feakle and Ballyea cross swords at the other side of the draw.

Fixture details have yet to be finalised for the semi-finals but they will take place on the weekend of September 30th/October 1st.

Likewise in the Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship only four teams remain. Broadford, Tubber and St Josephs Doora/Barefield all have a chance of securing promotion to the senior ranks while Sixmilebridge have a chance at securing the title.
