Ennisman Dómhnal Slattery, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of aircraft leasing company Avolin, has informed the Board of his intention to step down from his executive role and from the Board in 2022.
Dublin City University conferred the award of Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) on Ennisman and Avolon chief executive Dómhnal Slattery as well as Irish folk musician Moya Brennan.
Avolon, the international aircraft leasing company founded and headed by Ennis man Dómhnal Slattery, and Vertical Aerospace, have announced a ground-breaking US$2 billion order for up to 500 electric eVTOL aircraft.
