A section of Ennis town centre was sealed off this afternoon in the interest of public safety after a large sheet of metal was discovered in dangerous position on the chimney of three storey building.
A feasibility study has been completed by Clare County Council looking at the potential of covering sections of Parnell Street in Ennis as well as delivering public realm enhancements in Parnell Street, High Street and O’Connell Square.
Clare County Council has confirmed O’Connell Square and O’Connell Street from O’Connell Square to its junction with Station Road will be pedestrianised on a number of days during the lead up to Christmas.
