An irresistibly cheeky pygmy goat, has been crowned the Clare Nose of Tralee 2025, trotting his way straight into the hearts of the nation.
The Nose of Tralee, a much-loved, pet-focused spin on the iconic Rose of Tralee, celebrates the personality, charm, and snout of Ireland’s finest furry (or hooved!) companions.
This year, Clare’s top honour goes to Baaaanjo, a pint-sized goat with a supersized sense of humour and style.
Known locally for his curious spirit, theatrical bleats, and ability to photobomb at will, Baaaanjo wowed the judges with his flair, fluffy beard, and undeniable star quality. His crowning moment featured a strut, a snuggle, and what can only be described as a “goat grin” from ear to ear.
“He’s absolutely one of a kind,” said his delighted owner. “Whether he’s hopping onto hay bales, chasing butterflies, or sneaking into the kitchen for snacks, Baaaanjo brings joy and laughter to everyone around him. We couldn’t be prouder!”
As the newly crowned Clare Nose of Tralee, Baaaanjo will proudly represent the county in the upcoming All-Ireland Nose of Tralee final — where he’ll go horn-to-paw with other beloved pets from across the country.
This year’s competition has highlighted the diverse and delightful pets that call Ireland home — and Baaaanjo’s win proves that charm knows no species. With his tiny hooves, big personality, and even bigger heart, he’s truly the GOAT of Clare 2025.
