Additional care is advised on the roads this morning following heavy overnight rain.
Flooding has been reported across the county with surface water also said to be bad on sections of the M18 motorway.

These are the areas reported to be badly affected:
Quin Road (past Ennis train/bus station)
Lower Turnpike Road / McNamara Park
Carmody Street
Maid of Erin (outside Ennis Community College)
Lifford Road (near People’s Park)
New Road (near junction with Clon Road)
Tulla Road at Cappahard and Roslevan (new cycle path badly flooded)
Surface water reported at several locations along the M18 Motorway. The area around Crusheen is reported to be particularly bad.
