On Sunday, 01st March 2026, a new champion will be crowned on Réalta Agus Gaolta!
Among the finalists are three teenage sibling musicians from Co Clare.
Trad musicians extraordinaire, the Ó Gríofa family, include siblings Raghnaid, Bronagh, and Tadhg are from Miltown Malbay a place renowned for its traditional music and home of the legendary musician Willie Clancy. They will be hoping to do their hometown proud by performing traditional music in that unique Clare style.
For the past 7 weeks, the most talented families in Ireland have been strutting their stuff on our stage. We’ve seen siblings playing traditional music, married couples rocking out the hits from Metallica to U2. There’s been a father and daughter breaking out the hip-hop moves and a mum and son bringing tears to our eyes with a soulful rendition of The Fields of Athenry.
Others taking to the stage in the series finale include:
Dancers Stefano Pappalardo & Perla Farrera
This couple first met through their love of tango dancing and have been together ever since. They live in Leixlip, Co. Kildare and Stefano is originally from Sicily while Perla is from Mexico. Will they dance their way to the top of the podium in the final?
Rock ‘n’ Rollers Audrey Marian Fay & Eanna Duffy
This married couple first met when Eanna saw Audrey singing in a bar. He plucked up the courage to chat to her after the gig and the rest, as they say, is history. They live together in Skerries, Co. Dublin.
Classical music maestros, the Mantu family
Mum and dad, Andreea and Adrian, are originally from Romania and met as teenagers in a school for musically gifted students in Bucharest. They moved to Ireland in 2003 to take up the position of ensemble in residence at NUI, Galway. They are now the proud parents of 2 teenage daughters, Clara and Sofia, who have inherited their musical skills. This Quartet will be playing the cello and viola, and giving us a classical twist on contemporary music. They live in Oughterard, Galway.
Musical sisters Holly & Cliodhna Tinnelly
Hailing from Warrenpoint, Co. Down, Holly and Cliodhna are well known in the local area as musicians and are in constant demand in pubs and hotels to entertain the locals and tourists alike. 21-year-old Cliodhna is a dab hand on the fiddle, while 15-year-old Holly is amazingly talented on the guitar, particularly for her age. Can they now take their talent out of their local community and onto the national stage, and be crowned our new champions?
Acrobats Gavin Kaar & Jennifer Sheridan
This married couple bring a whole new meaning to trust in a relationship! They perform highly skilled acrobats, relying on their expertise and immense physical strength to carry out their routines. They had the judges on the edge of their seat in the early rounds of the series as Gavin balanced Jennifer high off the ground, and we expect more of the same dramatic display of raw power and finessed skill in the final.
They live in Ashford, Co. Wicklow with their newborn son Jay Kai, who is unfortunately too young to join the act…yet!
Traditional musicians – the Nolan family
Twins Polly and Lila are 15 years old and will be taking to the stage with their younger brother Rian, aged 13. They reached the final as the judges’ Wildcard act. With Polly of the piano, Lila playing the fiddle and Rian keeping the beat on the bodhrán, these three teens from Mountrath, Co. Laois will have the studio bouncing to their trad music.
The series is presenter by Síomha Ní Ruairc with judges Sinéad Ní Uallacháin and Irial Ó Ceallaigh. Each week they are joined by a special guest judge from the world of showbiz. This week, filling the guest judge spot is Jedward. These guys know all about performing with your family!
