There was no buyer of the former St Josephs Secondary School building located in Tulla at a recent public auction.
Priced at €175,000 the 2.46 acre site failed to spark any real interest at the public auction which took place in the Pavillion, Leopardstown, Dublin. It was pitched to possible investors as “a superbly located site with enormous potential for a variety of uses”.

A spokesperson for Sherry Fitzgerald told The Clare Herald that no decision has currently been made as to what happens next with the building. The most likely outcomes include another public auction or remarketing via public treaty.
In April of this year the newly constructed St Josephs Secondary School building was opened and the old site has been out of use since.
