Clare Independent TD Michael McNamara has welcomed the news that the proposed transfer of Shannon Heritage’s portfolio of visitor attractions in County Clare from Shannon Group plc to Clare County Council is to be brought to Cabinet for approval this afternoon.

A fully integrated ticketing, booking and capacity management system is being introduced at the Cliffs of Moher to further enhance the overall visitor experience for the 1.6 million annual visitors to Ireland's most popular natural attraction.

Bus Éireann has confirmed that from this Friday 25 June, the last daily departure from Galway to Limerick on Expressway Route 51 will be at 7.05pm. This service had been temporarily suspended from 15 May 2021.
