Storm Lorenzo continues to pound the Clare coast this morning as Met Éireann extended its Yellow Status wind warning.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange wind warning for Clare for a period overnight on Thursday into Friday with the county remaining under a Status Yellow before and afterwards.

While across the country, people are battening the hatches, airlines are cancelling flights and pilots are being forced to divert to other airports, one intrepid flight crew has taken to the skies at Shannon Airport especially because it’s so windy.
