HSE warning after Cryptosporidium outbreak

The Department of Public Health Mid-West is advising members of the public to improve handwashing in and around farm settings (wash your hands with hot water and soap), and to test and treat their well water, in order to reduce the risk of infection of Cryptosporidium.

Tractor plough lamps illegal on public roads – RSA

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) and The Association of Farm & Forestry Contractors in Ireland (FCI Ireland) are advising tractor drivers that plough lamps to the rear of the vehicle should not be used when travelling on public roads.
