Road safety message ahead of Bank Holiday weekend

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) and An Garda Síochána are issuing an urgent road safety appeal to all road users to slow down, wear seatbelts, not to drive when impaired, or distracted – particularly by illegally using your phone while driving –, or when tired.

HSE warning after Cryptosporidium outbreak

The Department of Public Health Mid-West is advising members of the public to improve handwashing in and around farm settings (wash your hands with hot water and soap), and to test and treat their well water, in order to reduce the risk of infection of Cryptosporidium.
