Over 1,100 people in Clare have been removed from the Environmental Protection Agency’s Remedial Action List (RAL) following remedial works carried out by Irish Water to supplies in Mountshannon and Feakle.
North Clare residents who have been on a boil water notice since July 2016 have finally received confirmation that their supply of water is safe to consume.
Over €3 million is currently being invested on improvement works at the wastewater treatment plant in Shannon and on cleaning and surveying the sewers and wider wastewater network in the town.
