Common Knowledge serves up seasonal feasts in Clare

Common Knowledge is launching Land & Lore, a new seasonal series of immersive dining experiences that celebrate food, farming, and cultural traditions in the west of Ireland.

The first event in the series, Farm to Fork Feast, takes place on Friday, 27 June at the Common Knowledge campus in County Clare at 6:30pm.

Land and Lore and Rekindle are both part of the Heritage in Action programme – our living heritage programme which is all about engaging with our heritage and traditional culture. Rekindle: The Festival of Lost Skills, an interconnected cultural programme running from May to October 2025 across North Clare. Together, these initiatives honour Irish heritage, celebrate community connection, and explore sustainable futures through the lens of food, craft, music, and storytelling

At the heart of Land & Lore is a deep respect for the people and practices that nourish our land and communities. Each dinner brings together regenerative farmers, local producers, chefs, and guests to share a meal, share knowledge, and connect through the rich traditions of Irish foodways.

The Farm to Fork Feast on 27 June will feature a three-course dining experience led by chef Ashley Gribben, who will create a menu inspired by the early summer harvest and sourced directly from local regenerative producers, including: Cratloe Hills Sheep’s Cheese the award-winning cheesemakers working with native breeds and traditional methods on family-run pasturelands.

Lúnasa Farm, a regenerative market garden cultivating chemical-free, seasonal produce by hand and Anam Coffee, a local, small-batch roastery committed to ethical sourcing and craft roasting in the Burren.

Each course will spotlight ingredients with integrity grown, harvested, and crafted with care and connection to place.

Guests will also enjoy live traditional music and the rare opportunity to hear directly from the farmers and makers behind the menu. Through conversation and storytelling, they will share the rhythms of their work, the biodiversity they protect, and the cultural memory held in how we grow and gather food.

In keeping with Common Knowledge’s values of inclusion and accessibility, the event offers three pricing tiers: A reduced-rate ticket for those who need it, A standard ticket and a pay-it-forward ticket that helps subsidise another guest’s place.

Spaces are limited – Book tickets here.

The next dinner date is the 18th July and there will be two subsequent dinners with guest chefs TBC. Stay connected to ensure you do not miss out here.

Land and Lore and Heritage In Action are funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and the Heritage Council of Ireland.

Rekindle is an intergenerational, multicultural festival celebrating traditional skills and community connection, hosted in Ennistymon and surrounding areas. Now in its third year, Rekindle draws over 1,000 attendees annually with a lively programme of hands-on workshops, heritage craft demonstrations, a vibrant local food market, and a community day filled with talks, intergenerational activities, and cultural exchange.

A new addition this year is Lasraí, a live concert fusing traditional and contemporary music, launching in early June. Rekindle 2025 will unfold across three key locations, Common Knowledge Centre, Kilfenora & Lisdoonvarna, and Ennistymon- from June 27th to October, with the main festival taking place on August 15th and 16th.
