Garda investigation after beehives burned in criminal act

Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage where a number of beehives were set alight last week.

A total of 13 beehives were set on fire at a property at Ballyhickey Quin last Tuesday the 7th April. Gardaí have confirmed that an accelerant was used.

Gardaí added that the injured party in this incident has lost 1000 bees.
