Clare Youth Service will once again be providing its range of Exam Supports including Exam Cafés across the county to offer students a safe and stress-free environment during the hectic exam period.
This year, venues include Ennis, Shannon, Kilrush, Lisdoonvarna, Sixmilebridge and Newmarket-on-Fergus, on the Exam Café roster whilst additional supports such as grant applications, CV writing and PLC options can be accessed by appointment through the CYS Youth Information Service.
The Exam Supports and Cafés offer students a safe space to relax and unwind during the exam period in a friendly, relaxed environment. They will also be able to avail of support, information, and guidance.
The CYS Youth information service will also be available throughout the exam period to provide support and you can get them through youthinformation@clareyouthservice.org
Exam Supports and Cafes:
Two Exam Cafés will run in Ennis. The Junction will run from 11.30am – 2pm each weekday until June 13th and the Youth Space in Carmody Street will be open from 11.30am – 1pm and 4pm – 6pm until June 19th except Mondays.
The next Shannon Café for Junior Cert students will take place at the Respond Building on 10th of June from 11am – 1 pm.
The Kilrush Exam Café takes place in the Youth Centre from 12pm- 2pm until the 12th of June excluding Mondays.
There will be a drop-in chillout zone in Sixmilebridge each Thursday during the exam period from 4pm to 6pm and on Fridays in Newmarket-on-Fergus from 630pm to 8pm.
The Lisdoonvarna Café takes place in the Pavilion until June 24th from 6pm to 9pm each days except Mondays.
The Youth Information Service will be available throughout the exam period to provide support and you can get them by email.
