Gardaí in Clare are investigating three separate incidents of assault that occurred in the county in the past week.
Ennis Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred on Wednesday 8th July at approximately 8.30pm.
A male in his 30s was assaulted by a person to known to him and received an injury to his arm which required hospital treatment.
This assault occurred in the Water Park Heights area of Ennis town and while Gardaí have a suspect in this case.
A Garda spokesperson said: “We are asking the public if they witnessed this assault or have dash cam footage please contact Ennis Gardaí on 065 6848100, or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666111.
Gardaí in Ennis are also investigating an assault that occurred on Friday 10th July at 5pm at Ballyalla Lake outside Ennis Town.
One male in his 50s was struck in the face causing him to fall backwards and he received a serious injury to the back of his head which required treatment from paramedics before he was transported to University Hospital Limerick.

Meanwhile, Shannon Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in the town last Thursday night the 9th July at around 10pm.
A male in his 30s required treatment at University Hospital Limerick for a facial injury. Gardaí are asking the public to please contact Shannon Gardaí on 061 365900 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666111 if they have any information or witnessed this incident.
