A young English man is undertaking an over 800 kilometre walk from the South East of England to the West Coast of Ireland raise money and awareness for Mental Health.
Frazer Last has already complete his journey on foot across England and Wales and is currently walking from Dublin to Galway.
From there he will continue to Clare and the last leg of his journey will take him from Kildysart to Labasheeda. It’s hoped he will complete the epic walk on June 28th.
Frazer said: “It seems that everyone knows someone badly affected by adverse mental health. My family has tragically lost two incredible people to suicide and we need to try and do whatever we can to raise awareness and hopefully help others who are suffering this often unseen illness.”
“To help raise much needed money and awareness, I will be walking from Alfriston in East Sussex to Labasheeda in County Clare, Ireland. I will be raising the money for the Charlie Waller Foundation and Mental Health Ireland.
The walk will begin at my auntie Mel’s grave, who sadly took her own life in 2007, and finish at my cousin Aaron’s grave in Ireland, who sadly took his own life last year. I wanted to do something challenging, but personally meaningful as well. This seemed like a fitting challenge for that,” Frazer said.
