The Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat was launched this afternoon to assist six people on a 37ft cruiser that had run aground north of Hare Island on the Co. Clare shore.
The volunteer crew of the Lough Derg RNLI lifeboat was tasked this afternoon to investigate a report from a member of the public that a kayaker was in difficulty by Navigation Mark J, at the northern end of the lake.
Lough Derg RNLI was called out last evening to assist a family of four on board a 36ft cruiser which was reported to have run aground on the southern side of the Corragheen Islands, in Dromineer Bay.
