John Conlon has been given the all-clear to start for the Clare Senior Hurlers in the Munster Championship semi-final against Waterford.

Conlon’s clubmate Oisin O’Brien also returns to the starting fifteen. Conlon last featured for the Banner County in the League semi-final victory over Kilkenny while O’Brien played the entire first game in the drawn League final with Waterford. An ankle injury ruled Conlon out of both clashes with Waterford while O’Brien punctured his lung.

Aaron Cunningham makes way for Conlon with a hamstring injury he sustained in the opening round of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship. Ballyea’s Jack Browne loses out to O’Brien at corner-back.

The layout of Davy Fitzgerald’s team is likely to be different once the ball is thrown in.

Derek McGrath announced his side on Friday evening.
