Davy Fitzgerald has named an unchanged team to play Galway in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final.
Management have opted against change from the side that overcame the challenge of Limerick in the qualifiers two weeks ago. Andrew Fahey continues between the posts with Inagh/Kilnamona’s Pa Kelly still recovering from an ankle injury.
Cratloe’s Conor McGrath has failed to make the team but it is believed the Cratloe attacker will be named on the bench. His clubmate Podge Collins starts at centre-forward, he got thirty minutes under his belt for the Clare footballers on Saturday.
Teenager Aron Shanagher is named in the inside full-forward line where he will be accompanied by John Conlon and Shane O’Donnell.
Along with McGrath, the Clare management will be able to call on the likes of Aaron Cunningham, Colin Ryan, Seadna Morey Cathal O’Connell and Paul Flanagan to name but a few.
At the time of writing Galway had yet to announce their starting fifteen.
