Gardaí in Shannon are investigating an incident where a pellet gun was discharged and a projectile struck another person in the mouth.
The incident occurred at Radharc Doire in Shannon on Friday last, September 19th, at round 4.00pm.

The injured party here was struck in the mouth by a pellet fired from a pellet gun by a male youth.
Shannon Gardaí are seeking witnesses to the incident and are asking anyone with any information on this youth to contact Shannon station on 061 365900.
