St Josephs Doora/Barefield have been knocked out of the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship losing out in extra time to Limerick champions Monaleen.
St Josephs Doora/Barefield overcame a fancied Broadford outfit to win the Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship and secure their return to the senior ranks for 2017.
Six members of the Clare Senior Hurling panel have been included in the starting team for the County’s clash with Waterford in the semi-final of the U21 Munster Hurling Championship.
It took extra time to decide a winner in the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship Final but Clare eventually prevailed by five points to secure their second title.
