President of TUS Professor Vincent Cunnane has launched a new Mental Health resource at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest, Moylish Campus, today Monday as part of the university’s Mental Health Awareness week.

Ireland’s first trans-regional university - Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest has been officially opened formally confirming Ennis as a University Town.

LIT along with their consortium partner AIT, has been awarded €1 million euro funding for their participation in the Regional University Network European University (RUN-EU) initiative.

The chair of the Joint Governing Body of the AIT-LIT Consortium, Professor Tom Collins, has today welcomed the announcement by Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, Simon Harris TD that Professor Vincent Cunnane is to be the first President of the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest.
