Dougal the dog vying for Nose of Tralee glory

A Clare dog, already crowned Nose of Clare, is now hoping for glory a in Tralee.

Dougal the dog already has his own Facebook page and his owner Aisling Scully says he’s obsessed with water.

Aisling said: “I saw the competition at the beginning of the summer and thought Dougal might be a bit of fun to enter him. He did really well and was chosen as the ‘The Clare Nose of Tralee’.

“Dougal is an amazing dog. Loves to swim is actually obsessed with the water, he is also an excellent retriever. He has taken a few dips with Dusty the Dolphin and can be seen most days jumping off Doolin pier,” Aisling added.

“From the first moment we got Dougal we knew he was one of a kind, he is more than just a pet. He deserves to win the Nose of Tralee!! He’s also a massive fan of Father Ted so go on and vote for him,” she said.

Vote for Dougal here. Go on, goon, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on!

Voting ends on the 22nd August 2017 6pm.
