Clare County Council has rejected an offer from NAMA to use one hundred and fifty seven properties for social housing.

2016 was the busiest year for construction in Clare since the economic crash.

An estimated €10.8 million will be spent on the construction of forty seven housing units throughout Co Clare in the next two years.

The price of an average three bedroom semi detached house in Clare has risen by 3.45% to €76,667 in the last three months, according to a national survey carried out by Real Estate Alliance.
