A 21-year-old man is due to appear in court this morning following the death Karl Haugh in Kilkee at the weekend.
The man was charged by Gardaí last night after he was arrested on Sunday in connection with the incident during which the father-of-one was stabbed.

Mr Haugh died in hospital after he was seriously injured during an altercation with three men in the Marion Estate in Kilkee early on Sunday morning. Three men were arrested in connection with the incident.
Gardaí have now confirmed they have charged one man in relation to the incident.
The two other men, also arrested in relation to the investigation, were released without charge while Gardaí will prepare a file for consideration by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
