A Lotto player in Co. Clare has enjoyed a weekend surprise after matching five numbers and the bonus to win €48,618 in Saturday night’s main Lotto draw.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday, 2nd July from Centra Loughville Motors, Lahinch Road, Ennis, Co. Clare.
The numbers in Saturday, 4th July, Lotto draw were: 6, 17, 18, 27, 38, 42 and the Bonus was 39.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said, “What a fantastic weekend surprise for a Lotto player in Co. Clare who is now set to collect €48,618 after matching five numbers and the bonus in Saturday night’s draw. We are encouraging all of our players who purchased a Quick Pick ticket at Centra Loughville Motors on Lahinch Road in Ennis to check their tickets carefully today. The winning ticketholder should sign the back of their ticket and contact our Prize Claims team so that arrangements can be made for them to collect their prize!”
The Clare ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will then be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.
Meanwhile, as there was no winner of the €5,915,657 jackpot on offer in last night’s Lotto draw, Wednesday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €6.2 million. Players dreaming of midweek celebrations are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Wednesday evening.
