Revenue Customs officers based at Shannon Airport seized 15.63kg of herbal cannabis earlier this week.
The illegal drugs, with an estimated value of €312,600 were discovered on Tuesday during a routine operation. The drugs were discovered in a parcel originating from the USA and was destined for an address in the south of the country.

This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
