Shannon Group confirms heritage sites talks

Shannon Group has confirmed that it is in discussions with local authorities in Clare and Limerick on the transfer of the Shannon Heritage company and all its visitor attractions in Co. Clare (including Bunratty Castle) to Clare County Council, with King John’s Castle transferring to Limerick City and County Council.

Council engages with Shannon Group on heritage sites

Clare County Council has engaged with Shannon Group to commence a due diligence process to consider the potential transfer by Shannon Group PLC of Shannon Heritage (Clare-based visitor attractions) to Clare County Council as a subsidiary company.
