Fresh from their one point victory over Laois, Clare must now turn their attention to Sligo for Round 3A in the qualifiers of the All-Ireland Football Championship.
It was a win to remember for the Banner County as they took the lead at the death to send Laois out of the championship and they now face Sligo who have had an extra week’s rest following their facile 2-15 0-10 win over Leitrim.
Fixture details will be confirmed by the CCCC later today but Clare will be travelling to Markievicz Park for this outing that takes place this coming weekend.
A win for Colm Collins’ men would see them advance to the last twelve.
