Clare primary schools compete in Active Ennis gala

Seventeen primary schools from across Clare participated in the Active Ennis Annual Schools Gala held at Active Ennis Leisure Complex this week.

Students from third to sixth class competed in teams of four in a mixture of width and length swimming.

Teams placed first, second and third received medals and the best overall school was awarded a plaque.

Barefield NS was named as this year’s best school in the ‘A’ category with St Flannans NS, Inagh selected in the ‘B’ category.
