People living in Co Clare are being urged to play their part in reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill this Christmas by availing of one of the counties’ five recycling facilities.
Clare’s best young entrepreneurs have been honoured at the County Final of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur (IBYE) competition, which took place in the Buttermarket Building in Ennis last night (Thursday).
€284,000 has been allocated to Clare County Council under CLÁR 2016 to implement road safety measures in the vicinity of schools and community facilities at 29 locations throughout County Clare.
€200,000 has been allocated under the Rural Economic Development Zones (REDZ) initiative for the marketing, development and promotion of The Lough Derg Blueway, which includes the soon to be completed Lough Derg Canoe Trail.
