Old cine-films taken in Clarecastle in the 1950s that show aspects of the village in that era and the unloading of ships at Clarecastle Quay have been discovered and digitised.
A number of Clare heritage groups are partnering with the National Museum of Ireland and Clare County Council Heritage Office on an initiative to make more local history and heritage accessible online.
