Wired FM is holding a media conference this weekend in partnership with Belltable/Lime Tree Theatre to celebrate 21 years of broadcasting.

It took two attempts but Kilfenora were crowned 2016 Clare Intermediate Football Champions when they overcame the challenge of Kildysart by three points.

After 60 minutes of a great spectacle, Clare’s IFC finalists will have do it all over again in a fortnights time as the game finished all-square, either side could feel hard done by if they lost this one but neither side could honestly admit they had done enough to lift the trophy.

With a panel of twenty one players it’s fair to say the Clare Intermediate Ladies Footballers are a tight-knit unit.
